Pablo Thompson
Associate, Equitas Capital SpA
Mr. Thompson joined Equitas Capital in early 2009. He is currently involved in the process of evaluation, negotiation and materialization of the investments that Equitas Capital makes through its investment funds. After an investment has been materialized, he is also in charge of monitoring portfolio companies.
Prior to Equitas Capital, Mr. Thompson worked at Celfin Capital, where he was in charge of the valuation and ongoing analysis of companies in different sectors, providing strategic and financial analysis to Celfin Capital’s private banking area.
Mr. Thompson holds a B.A. degree in Business Administration from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and has a certificate from a Venture Capital Investment Funds program at Universidad Adolfo Ibañez.
Federico Ayala

Mr. Ayala joined Equitas Capital in early 2010. He is currently involved in the process of evaluation, negotiation and materialization of the investments that Equitas makes through its investment funds. After an investment has been materialized, he is also in charge of monitoring portfolio companies.
Prior to Equitas Capital, Mr. Ayala worked at IB Partners, where he actively participated in a wide variety of mergers and acquisitions transactions in different industries and also in debt restructuring with local and international banks.
Mr. Ayala holds a B.A. degree in Business Administration from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where he graduated with distinction.
Samantha Cook
Research & Market Intelligence, Equitas Capital SpA
Mrs. Cook has 13 years of experience in corporate intelligence and research working for Venture Capital & Private Equity, Internet, media and technology companies in the U.S. and Chile.
Mrs. Cook has worked for Equitas Capital since 2002. Prior to Equitas Capital, she worked at StarMedia Network, an online community for Spanish- and Portuguese speakers, in New York and Los Angeles as Director of Corporate Intelligence. Samantha has also worked at MarketBridge, a sales and marketing consulting firm in Washington, D.C., as a business analyst.
Mrs. Cook has also worked as a freelance consultant for media and technology companies such as Discovery Networks International.
Mrs. Cook graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgetown University with a double major in International Business and Marketing.
